Dire Enervation

Dire Enervation

A spell crackles through the sky
originating from far

Looking to ionise
anything caught in its path

You’re stood measurably from an arch where adjacent walls lurch
Sable void dichotomises right where only pathetic words were left

As streaks crawling towards you, fingering the ground, it’s realised
That the bolt was directly inbound but you couldn’t care much less
