and i tried to pull away but she held on and didnt let go

there i stood

in the shadow of a bloated animal with sable long holes

under foot

and she rung me from its eyes, its seeping gaze that kept me frozen

those wet pearls

submitting in my arms a weeping heart from the bottom of my soul

blackened
